the impressive weight of granite demands that lanterns be made a manageable size. it is therefore recommended that in assembling a lantern, the pieces be joined by an epoxy cement. this is most advisable if the piece is to be permanently secured in an area where children are at play. also, pieces carved with pedestal bases can easily be made stable if set in concrete or gravel. we have pictured many antiques in our catalogue, and please note that we ship items with their natural granite finish. if you would like us to reproduce an “antique finish,” we will be happy to accommodate your request for a ten-percent (10%) additional charge. there can be no guarantee of an exact match with the picture in the catalogue…
